Invoice status
In the free beta, a person on the RailFi team (not software) works on each invoice you send. We update status here (or by email) as:
- Received
- Options sent
- Provider chosen
- You confirmed you got paid
- Needs you
Payment instructions (signed RailFi links)
- Received
- Instructions sent
- Test sent (payer says)
- Test confirmed (payee)
- Payee confirmed received
- Needs you
“Needs you” means the payee said the test didn't arrive. RailFi never sets an invoice as settled. The last step only happens when the payee confirms they received it.
RailFi never holds or moves money. You get paid through a provider account in your own name, and you tell us when the money has arrived.
