Overview
What RailFi is, who it is for, and what it never does.
What RailFi is
RailFi helps contractors paid in USDC compare off-ramp providers and get paid in local currency. RailFi never holds or moves money. You get paid through a provider account in your own name, under that provider's own terms.
RailFi is a free beta run by FORGE. RailFi is not a bank. No token.
What you get today
Tell us your corridor and one real invoice. Within 1 business day we send you:
- A side-by-side of your off-ramp options: fees, speed, documents needed
- A USDC invoice template
- Payer instructions
- Optional: a 20-minute call where we walk you through your first payout
In the free beta, a person on the RailFi team (not software) works on each invoice you send.
In beta
RailFi's self-serve invoices and payment links, with the address, network and sanctions checks described in these docs, are in beta for invited contractors. Pages that describe them say so at the top.
What RailFi never does
- Hold, receive, move or convert your money
- Mark an invoice as settled for you. Only you confirm that the money arrived
- Ask for wallet keys, seed phrases, or bank passwords
